The Chinese are now coming to Honolulu three times a week. The planes are full and they are expected to grow to a visitor count of about 1.5 million in four (4) years. This will equal a similar count for the loyal Japanese market.
Even South Korea and Australia are fast becoming originators of visitors for our markets.
Hawaiian Airlines now serves both domestic and international destinations. The nice thing about this from their standpoint is ...if the guest originates in China, they are going to return to China. ... they get the business both ways.
We need small businesses to service these fast growing markets. The visitors love all things "Hawaiiana" and will support that love with dollars spent on food, entertainment, tours, and much more.
